Bottled water is available at City Hall for those customers who are susceptible to high nitrates (pregnant women, parents with infants, or people with health conditions that make them vulnerable to nitrates such as heart disease). There is also a water dispenser behind City Hall/the Fire Department that is hooked up to a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system where customers can fill up personal containers (up to 5 gallons).

***Draft Cannabis Ordinance Released for Public Review/Comment – Town Hall Meeting Announced***
The City of San Juan Bautista is considering an ordinance to permit certain cannabis related businesses, in designated areas, subject to significant regulation.
If you are interested in learning more and would like to share your concerns, we welcome your input. Please attend a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.
A Council subcommittee and the City’s consultant will be available to hear your views, and explain how the Statewide adoption of cannabis legalization impacts our community.
The subcommittee has prepared a “first draft” of a possible ordinance for later consideration by the full City Council. You may review it HERE
San Juan Bautista Youth Commission is recruiting new members!!!
Youth ages 12-18 living within the Aromas San Juan Unified School District boundaries are invited to apply to become a member of the 11-member San Juan Bautista Youth Commission. Commissioners provide insight regarding youth and teen issues to assist the City in addressing the needs of importance for youth and experience a unique opportunity to work with city leaders. The Commission creates events and special programs that positively influence the youth of San Juan Bautista.
