The State Water Resources Control Board recently adopted an expanded emergency regulation to reduce urban water consumption by 25% in order to safeguard the state’s remaining water supplies. San Juan Bautista Water Rate Study
The Water and Sewer Rate Study Draft Report is submitted and received, and is ready for review and consideration to adopt. The Water Rate Study incorporates a uniform rate structure for water used in lieu of the tier rate structure which the City has used over the last several years. The recent San Juan Capistrano court case ruling suggests that the City move forward with a uniform rate structure for all water used rather than continuing with the tier rate structure. San Juan Bautista Youth Commission
Youth ages 12-18 living within the Aromas San Juan Unified School District boundaries are invited to apply to become a member of the 11- member San Juan Bautista Youth Commission. Members will provide insight regarding youth and teen issues to assist the City in addressing the needs and issues of importance for youth in the community and will experience a unique opportunity to work with city leaders, provide input on policies and create events and special programs that will positively influence the youth and community of San Juan Bautista. Six seats are now open.
