Bottled water is available at City Hall for those customers who are susceptible to high nitrates (pregnant women, parents with infants, or people with health conditions that make them vulnerable to nitrates such as heart disease). There is also a water dispenser behind City Hall/the Fire Department that is hooked up to a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system where customers can fill up personal containers (up to 5 gallons).

The 18th Barrel wine and beer tasting room opens on Sunday (6/18)!

Artists-Writers Workshop Summer Camp – June 12 to 30, 2017, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ($75)
Fostering Literacy Through Art is an art-and-literature-based approach to writing that integrates visual modes of thinking at every stage of the writing process. This curriculum utilizes simple crayon resist art techniques and quality literature in a progression of mini-lessons that teach essential literacy skills to students with diverse learning styles. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Make a Difference Day
On Saturday October 21st, community members took part in a town-wide clean-up day. The City would like to thank sponsors and community members for making this day a success!
The City of San Juan Bautista is under mandatory water restrictions. The State Water Resources Control Board recently adopted an expanded emergency regulation to reduce urban water consumption by 25% in order to safeguard the state’s remaining water supplies.
