Process to Ticket Overweight Trucks in the City
We have heard your concerns regarding the trucks >3 tons violating city code 7-3-100 and by driving within city limits. This is a misdemeanor offense with $1000 fine and up to 6 months in jail. Eye witnesses signatures are required in order for the tickets to be issued by city code enforcement.
