The City of San Juan Bautista in partnership the County Office of Emergency Services continues to respond to flooding especially along San Juan Hollister Road. The Canyon continues to send a large volume of stormwater towards the City through the culvert at Highway 156, away from The Alameda. Residents at the Mission Village RV Park have been advised to evacuate. 

ROAD CLOSURES 
San Juan Highway is passable now. The Alameda at Hwy 156 should be reopening within the hour. 

Highway's 156 and 152 remain open but are dangerous. Highway 101 South Bound is closed ay Highway 25, which is also closed. 

The County Office of Emergency Services with the support of Red Cross have opened its shelter at the Hollister Migrant Center. This facility is available to city residents that may need shelter. If another larger evacuation is necessary in or near San Juan Bautista, the County OES and Red Cross are poised to open a local shelter as well. 

The City has an ample supply of free sandbags and sand for residents at its corporate yard at 1st and San Jose. Staff is on emergency standby this weekend. If you need help or assistance after hours, (as always), please call the 24-hour hotline at (831) 902-0887.
