Sip and Celebrate Beer & Wine Stroll
San Juan Bautista Sip and Celebrate Beer & Wine Stroll will take place in downtown San Juan Bautista on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Participating businesses will be paired with a local winery or brewery where attendees will be poured a 2 oz. taste of wine -OR- a 2 oz. taste of beer.
The stroll will also spotlight local nonprofit organizations who will raise money through the event and will participate as pourers. Participant nonprofits such as the Native Daughters of the Golden West, San Juan Library Auxiliary, Pet Friends, Rozas House Org., Inc., San Juan Home & School Club, San Juan Bautista VFW, and the San Juan Service Club.
Advance tickets will be available online on Eventbrite at an early bird price of $35. Full Price tickets will be $45.
A free collectible 150th Anniversary Sip and Celebrate Beer & Wine Stroll tasting glass, wristband, coupons from selected restaurants and merchants, and a passport with map featuring all downtown locations for one tasting at each site. 20 locations in all.

When and Where to Check in:
Check-in will open at 12:00 p.m. in downtown San Juan (event begins at 1:00 p.m.) so you can come early to avoid long lines and grab a bite at one of our great restaurants before heading out to taste the wines and beers. Check-in is open from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Do not forget your ID, as we will check ID for ALL attendees.
Please drink responsibly and taste on a full stomach! Unfortunately, Health Dept. rules do not allow food in non-restaurant tasting sites. We open check-in an hour ahead of time so you can relax and get some bites at one of our great restaurants before the event.
Most of our tasting sites are fairly small business that do not have restroom facilities that can handle a crowd. Their restroom swill not be available to Beer and Wine Stroll attendees. Portable public restrooms will be available.
Parking will be located at San Juan School, 100 Nyland Drive, right off Highway 156 across from the Windmill Market. If you do drive to the event please note that no ticket is needed for any designated drivers accompanying you who will not be tasting. Some free public parking is available throughout Downtown San Juan Bautista.
No Refunds will be provided after tickets are purchased.
Does my friend who will not be drinking need a ticket?
No, anyone tagging along who will not be tasting beer does not need a ticket.
Can I bring my baby?
Sure, you can bring your baby to the Beer and Wine Stroll. Please just be cautious with strollers as many of the businesses participating as tasting sites are somewhat small and do not allow strollers inside.
If it's a Wine and Beer Stroll why can't I walk with wine?
ABC regulations prohibit walking between tasting sites with any wine or beer in your glass. Thank you for either pouring out or consuming wine at each tasting site before strolling on to the next site!
